The Strode Arms sits in the centre of the ancient village of Cranmore, opposite the duck pond, not far from the market towns of Frome and Shepton Mallet.
This eighteenth century country inn will delight anyone in search of great food, an excellent range of drinks and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Full of character, it is the perfect place to curl up in front of the fire with the newspapers in the winter or enjoy a summer’s day on our sun-trap front terrace watching the ducks go by.
We love dogs at The Strode Arms; Harley, our pub puppy, is busy making friends with all our four-legged visitors and do bring your horse to the pub for a drink too (we can always find a spare carrot).
Pay us a visit and see the total refurbishment, try the new menus and meet our young, dedicated and enthusiastic team. We look forward to welcoming you to The Strode Arms – why not join us for Easter Sunday lunch or try one of our special offers. All the details are on our Events page.
Our delicious bar snacks are always available when we are open, including the best pork pies with our Strode chutney and other goodies
