Originally used as a farm house in the 15th century, The Strode Arms lies in the centre of the ancient village of Cranmore, beside Cook’s lane; just off the A361. The Strode Arms overlooks the beautiful duck pond of Cranmore and is not far from the market towns of Frome and Shepton Mallet.

This beautiful country inn will delight anyone in search of great food, quality drinks and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Full of character and charm, it is the perfect place to enjoy enviable food with friends and family. In the colder months, curl up in front of one of roaring log fires with your favourite glass of red.

Turn off the A361 (we have private parking) and pay us a visit to see our new face lift and meet our lovely team. We look forward to welcoming you to The Strode Arms.
