Originally used as a farm house in the 15th century, The Strode Arms lies in the centre of the ancient village of Cranmore, beside Cook’s lane; just off the A361. The Strode Arms overlooks the beautiful duck pond of Cranmore and is not far from the market towns of Frome and Shepton Mallet.

This beautiful country inn will delight anyone in search of great food, quality drinks and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Full of character and charm, it is the perfect place to enjoy enviable food with friends and family. In the colder months, curl up in front of one of roaring log fires with your favourite glass of red.

Turn off the A361, towards the east Somerset railway and you will find us tucked in on the left, opposite the beautiful duck pond, with parking to the front and rear of the building.

We welcome you with open arms, a lot of laughs and an experience to remember.
